3 Effective Texts To Send a Stressed out Partner

1. “It seems like you’re overwhelmed. Is there anything I can do to help?”

Let your partner know that they don’t have to carry the whole burden on their own. Help them understand that you’re a team.

Sometimes helping with even the smallest of things can make a person feel like they can rely on someone else and that the responsibility isn’t all on their shoulders or more. This can help them feel like they can breathe again.

2. “I know you’ve been really stressed out lately. I just wanted you to know that you’re not alone even though I know it might feel that way.”

Stress can be all-consuming and we can forget that we have a support system. Remind your partner that they’re not alone with their thoughts and emotions.

You are there too if they need someone to listen or talk to.

3. “I just wanted to remind you how …(Insert reasons why you love this person and/or remind them of their strengths).”

Oftentimes when we’re stressed out, we feel emotionally drained which means it can be a lot harder to keep all of our negative thoughts and insecurities away. This might also lead to them doubting their relationship.

Help your partner remember their successes and why you love them. Sometimes this little boost of love and positive affirmation can give someone enough motivation to keep going.
